Louis XIV, also known as "Le Roi Soleil" in French,was born the 5th of September of 1638 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye,an event that was recieved as divine by his parents,Louis XIII and Anne of Austria so it was christened Louis-Dieudonné "given by god"and he died the 1st of September of 1715,just few days before his seventy.seventh birthday and after seventy-two year of reing Childhood Louis XIV was born the 5th of september of 1638. He was the son of the marriage between Louis XIII and Anne of Austria. Some years later his brother called Philip. After the death of Philip IV of Spain, uncle of Louis XIV,his son ascended to the throne as Charles II of Spain. Louis claimed the territory of Brabant in the Netherlands,ruled by the king of Spain,which should b returned to his wife ,Maria Teresa,older half-sister of Charles II. Louis interest in the Netherlands was benefited from the internal problems of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands
2.- The second fonde After the Thirty Years,in 1648, the civil French war began,also known as the "Fronde"
The second "Fronde"began when the first finished in 1650. Nobles of all types,from princesses of royal blood and cousinsn of the king as Gaston of orleans to long noble lineage as even legitimate royal descent like Henry II of orleans participated in the rebelion against the royal power. Even the clergy participated. Because of this Louis developed a strong distrust of the nobility Descendents
